No new recipe ideas or spiritual encouragement today. Just a quick hello before I'm away from the computer for the next 3 days. By then I'll be done with my week of Daniel Fast, but the lessons and answers to prayer will keep coming! And then I'll have my church's week of corporate fasting to participate in with more of the Daniel Fast probably. God is so good. Amazingly, I'm not tired of rice!
While I wait for the milk to cool for my yogurt-making, I thought I'd check out your blog and see how the fast is going. Glad I did - it's been fun to see what kinds of foods you are enjoying! I was wondering about the rice comment - is that the only grain allowed on this version of the "Daniel diet"?
ReplyDeleteNo, it's not the only grain allowed, just the simplest and always in the pantry for me. I really enjoy quinoa flakes warm for breakfast. Quick as instant oatmeal almost!
